A very Warm Thank You
to the donors of the Magen Avraham Safe rooms
Rabbi Yosef
"וְהָיָה כְּעֵץ שָׁתוּל עַל פַּלְגֵי מָיִם אֲשֶׁר פִּרְיוֹ יִתֵּן בְּעִתּוֹ וְעָלֵהוּ לֹא יִבּוֹל וְכֹל אֲשֶׁר יַעֲשֶׂה יַצְלִיחַ"
"And he shall be like a tree planted by streams of water, that bringeth forth its fruit in its season, and whose leaf doth not wither; and in whatsoever he doeth he shall prosper"
As you know, Israeli cities and villages were bombarded by missile attacks coming from Gaza.
Here in Omer, we had about twenty five different missile alerts. Most of the missiles fell in open areas or were intercepted by the Iron dome while in the air.
At Magen Avraham, thanks to having a spacious safe room, we were able to continue prayer services and some community activities.
This Tuesday, while at work, the sirens blasted, and I found myself running to the safe room with Inbal, our Rabbinical intern. We heard several explosions close by, but we were safe.
Knowing the safe room was a relatively new project, I want to thank those who donated and participated in building them.
So, this a double thank you, on our behalf as a community and on my personal behalf. Thank you for keeping us safe.
May God bless you and return you many favors in return for this one.
I bless you and your loved ones from the depth of my heart.
Rabbi Yosef Baruch Fromer, Congregation Magen Avraham, Omer.
